Celebrate Next Fall Feasts: Yom Kippur & Sukkot

**NOTE: This a long blog post.. but worth reading.. However, I will not be giving my final statements/thoughts/opinions/comments etc etc.. LET THE LORD REVEAL & GIVE TO YOU WHAT WAS REVEALED & GIVEN TO ME.. Seek the LORD Himself, Let Him Be Your Teacher & Guide Alone.**

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’s Passover.

In the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread unto the LORD.

Offering the Firstfruits

‘When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest.  He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.  On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the LORD a lamb a year old without defect, together with its grain offering of two-tenths of an ephahof the finest flour mixed with olive oil—a food offering presented to the LORD, a pleasing aroma—and its drink offering of a quarter of a hinof wine. You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

Count off seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain. Then celebrate the Festival of Weeks to the LORD your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the LORD your God has given you.

Summertime — In the sacred calendar “summertime” is the time frame from Pentecost until the Fall Feasts. Summertime is the time to be inviting others to experience a personal relationship with Yahushua as depicted by the Spring Feasts.  Teshuva takes place near the end of summer and is a preparation time for the judgment.. In earth’s history, we are living in the time of Teshuva; therefore it behooves one to begin a personal relationship with the only begotten Son.  Source: CertainSoundMinistry

In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of Blowing of Trumpets, an holy convocation.

In the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a Day of Atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD. Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress.  On the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

Celebrate the Festival of Weeks with the Firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year. Three times a year all your men must appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles.

No one should appear before the LORD empty-handed.

(Fall Feasts –The fall feasts consist of the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), and the Feast of Ingathering (Succoth).  These feasts represent the judgment, the appearance of Yahushua, and the kingdom of the Father and His Son.  The fall feasts are still prophetic because the type/pattern hasn’t met the antitype. The fall feasts are a shadow of things to come until Yahushua fulfills them. Source: CertainSoundMinistry)

The Feasts of the LORD (YaHuWaH’s HOLY days “Jewish Holidays”) reveals God’s Eternal Master Plan for mankind. Helpful links: Hebrew4Christians; FeastsOfTheLORD

Will you keep the God of ISRAEL’s HOLY Days? or would you rather stick on this world’s pagan holidays like: EASTER, HALLOWEEN & CHRISTMAS? .. ..What does the Most High God of ISRAEL says?

you shall not follow the customs of the nation which I will drive out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I have abhorred them Lev.20:23 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojournethwith you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. Num.15:15 The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. Zech.14:18

So Choose This Day WHOM Will You Serve? Obey? Follow? The Most High God of ISRAEL or Man’s Passed-Down Traditions?

..But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD..” Josh.24:15

So, the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) have passed already, yet the Bride of Christ is still here.. Even the ‘biblical scholars/eschatologists’ with the wisdom of this world have failed.. ..So would all the ‘Christian’ mockers & scoffers say that all of them are false-teachers & false-prophets? I’d rather say not.

I pray that all of us have already learned our lesson… It is not for us to know the times & dates that Our Father has set by His Own Authority. Acts 1:7 But know that the Fall Feasts of the LORD are NOT yet over.. and there will still be a Fall Harvest Celebration. 😉

“Please right now the most important question to ask ourselves is whether or not we have totally separated from sin and are walking in absolute holiness in readiness for the Rapture. The times and dates are set by the Father in His own authority, but the question is “when that moment strikes, will we be found in right standing with God?” Please instead of asking these questions and even fortune-telling at times, let us please instead focus on preparing in absolute holiness that we may be ready. Let us examine the condition of our hearts and see if there is any spot still staining our garments. The reason for the LORD’s patience and long-suffering is that we may all repent and enter. Blessings” — JESUS IS COMING Facebook Page Admin

“..Let us please instead focus on preparing in absolute holiness that we may be ready. Let us examine the condition of our hearts and see if there is any spot still staining our garments. The reason for the LORD’s patience and long-suffering is that we may all REPENT and enter..

After Rosh Hashanah, it would be the Day of Atonement.. then the Feast of Tabernacles.. Afflict your souls.. Confess & Repent of ALL your sins.. God is just, merciful & abundantly pardons.. He has been faithfully sending His WARNING for mankind to REPENT of their sins & RETURN to Him, before pouring out His WRATH & JUDGMENT on the wicked, rebelled & disobedient ones.

Ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land.  Lev.25:9

Yom Kippur is the tenth day of the month of Tishrei. According to Jewish tradition, God inscribes each person’s fate for the coming year into a book, the Book of Life, on Rosh Hashanah, and waits until Yom Kippur to “seal” the verdict. During the Days of Awe, a Jew tries to amend his or her behavior and seek forgiveness for wrongs done against God (bein adam leMakom) and against other human beings (bein adam lechavero). The evening and day of Yom Kippur are set aside for public and private petitions and confessions of guilt (Vidui). At the end of Yom Kippur, one considers oneself absolved by God. Source: Wikipedia

Therefore amend your ways & seek forgiveness for all that you have done! Oh how I love our Heavenly Father that is so gracious, good & merciful! Though Your Children are SO EXCITED & LONGING TO GO HOME.. we would patiently wait for others to come, just as You are patient & long-suffering, oh God.

More about Yom Kippur “Day of Atonement”

o Yom Kippur is a day of reconciliation, when Jews strive to make amends with people and to draw closer to God through prayer and fasting. The ten days leading up to Yom Kippur are known as the Ten Days of Repentance. During this period Jews are encouraged to seek out anyone they may have offended and to sincerely request forgiveness so that the New Year can begin with a clean slate. Source: About.com

o In Jewish tradition, Yom Kippur is essentially your last appeal, your last chance to change “the judgment of God” and to demonstrate your repentance and make amends. The books are “written” on Rosh Hashanah, but our deeds during the Ten Days of Awe can alter God’s decree. The actions that change the decree are teshuvah (repentance), tefilah (prayer) and tzedakah (good deeds). The books are then “sealed” on Yom Kippur. Again, it is important to keep in heart that those who are trusting in Yeshua as their Atonement before the Father are thereby declared tzaddikim and their names are written (and sealed) in the Book of Life.  The Day of Judgment for our sinful lives has come in the Person of Yeshua the Mashiach, blessed be He.  All those who truly belong to Yeshua are written in the “Lamb’s book of life ” (Phil. 4:3; Rev. 3:5; 13:8; 17:8; 20:12, 15; 21:27; 22:19). Teshuva, To Come Back HOME

First day of the sixth month [new moon] to the Day of Atonement [10th day of seventh month] 40-day time frame

#7725 shuwb:  get [oneself] (back) again, give (again), go again (back home), (cause to, make to) return, reverse.

The word Teshuva is taken from the above word.  It could be paraphrased a movement back to your departure. The side margin in the book of Jonah for turn [#7725} is repentance. The thought is that the judgment is coming in the seventh month; are we prepared for our hearing?  Are we right with YHWH and our fellow man? This timeframe appeals to the back slidden “soul to return to his/her Maker.

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!  I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son:  make me as one of thy hired servants.  And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.  And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.  But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: Luke 15:17-22

The Last Generation Teshuva Message

A Call to Come out of Babylon and worship YHWH in Spirit and Truth

In the Bible a woman is a symbol of a church.  Proverbs 31:10-12 says, Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.  The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.  She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.  Therefore, when the Bible talks about a whore in symbolism, it is talking about a corrupted church.  The corrupted church of Revelation is called Babylon [which means confusion].

The last generation Teshuva message is to call believers of YHWH and His Son out of corrupt churches that mix truth with falsehood before probation closes.  YHWH is sending the last gospel call to mankind by four angels in the book of Revelation. This message warns us not to receive the mark of the beast. Source: CertainSoundMinistry

Teshuva Symbolizes preparing for the Judgment whereby one is either sealed unto eternal life or one will receives the wages of his/her unrepentant heart (Luke 19:14, 27).

YHWH DOES NOT want any to perish; He asks us to tell of His wonderful love AS WELL AS warn people to repentCry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet; declare to my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Isaiah 58:1  Are you preparing for the judgment?  Participating in the Fall Feasts is a great way for gaining a better insight into the judgment.

May you be inscribed in the book of life.

A Hebrew greeting for the first 30 days of Teshuva

May you be sealed unto the Day of Redemption.

A Hebrew greeting for the last 10 days of Teshuva

Commonly known as the Days of Awe or “Ten Days of Awe”

This is the timeframe between Trumpets and Day of Atonement.

I would just include the last Yom Kippur service according to Jewish tradition: (from Hebrew4Christians)

The Ne’ilah Service

According to Jewish tradition, on Rosh HaShanah the destiny of the righteous [the tsaddikim] are written in the Book of Life, and the destiny of the wicked [the resha’im] are written in the Book of Death. However, many people (perhaps most people) will not be inscribed in either book, but have ten days — until Yom Kippur — to repent before sealing their fate. On Yom Kippur, then, a final appeal is made to God to be written in the Book of Life.

The word ne’ilah comes from a word which means “closing” or “locking” [the gates of heaven (or temple gates)]. The appeal to have our names “sealed” in the Book of Life” is made at this time. A shorter Viddui is made. This service has a sense of urgency about it, and concludes with a responsive reading of the Shema, with the phrase “barukh shem kavod malkhuto l’olam va-ed” said aloud three times, and the phrase “The LORD is God” said seven times.

(Note: By the second temple period, the High Priest ceremony had been elaborated so that on three separate occasions the High Priest appeared before the people and recited a formula of confession in their hearing. On this occasion only – during the entire year – these three confessions included the High Priest’s saying aloud the sacred Name “YHVH.” During each confession, when the High Priest would begin the recitation of the Name, all the people would prostrate themselves and say aloud, “Baruch shem K’vod malchuto l’olam va-ed,” “Blessed be the Name of the radiance of the Kingship, forever and ever.”)

A final shofar blast (Shofar ha-Gadol or Tekiah Gedolah) is then sounded (this is referred to in Isaiah 27:13 and Matthew 24:31). Worshippers then exclaim, “L’shanah haba’ah b’Yerushalayim!” After the service ends, some synagogues perform also a Havdalah ceremony.

At this point, people are generally quite relieved that they have “made it” through the Days of Awe, and a celebratory mood sets in (traditionally a time of courtship and love follow this holiday). Since Sukkot is only five days away, the first steps toward making a Sukkah are discussed.

Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress. Be joyful at your festival —you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.  For seven days (..seven years in the House of the LORD, perhaps?..) celebrate the festival to the LORD your God at the place the LORD will choose. For the LORD your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.

Sources: Leviticus 23; Exodus 23; Exodus 34; Numbers 28; Numbers 29Deuteronomy 16;

Sukkoth (Tabernacles) is a time of joy to world. Deut16:13-14. You shall observe the Feast of Tabernacles seven days…and you shall rejoice in the feast…” This feast is introduced with a shofar blast and is concluded with another series of blasts. A Sukkoth is a temporary dwelling, shelter or booth. The symbolism of the Sukkoth /Tabernacles relates to God coming and dwelling with us. The booth symbolises the temporary nature of this. At the first coming of our Lord He came to this earth temporarily. The Hebrew word Sukkah comes from Genesis 33:17 Jacob made “booths” for his livestock and called them Sukkah. So, the word for a stable is a Sukkah. Our Lord was born in a stable or Sukkah. Source: ThePropheticScroll

“..The Meaning of the Shofar: 10 Reasons for the mitzvah of blowing the shofar..”

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Hebrews 4:9-10

The Shofar’s Call To Repentance The blowing of the ram’s-horn trumpets provided an important spiritual reminder: It was an admonition to those who had just finished bringing in the harvest by the sweat of their own labor. When workers were tempted to look at the results of their own effort and congratulate themselves for the harvest, they needed this God-centered ritual to remind them that in all of their work they were dependent on the creating and sustaining power of God on their behalf. The worker plants, weeds, waters, and waits. But it is God who gives the increase! Source: bethaderech

HAHA! ^_____^

I will just be having this long smile in my face.. 😉 I knew something since this year started, for the LORD had put it in my mind. However, since I am not sure if it was just from my own understanding, I re-consider other possibilities. But since all the ‘possibilities’ have passed already.. ..the last hope that I am holding onto is the first thing which was given to me. 😉 (But I will just keep it to myself.. not to think of myself highly than others.. and just being careful to make the same mistakes that I’ve done for the past months.)

I am not a date-setter. I just really wanted to go home. Home Sick & Love Sick is how I would describe it… ..but just like what this brother said, just keep on looking on the Feasts of the LORD.. and not to be disappointed if what we ‘assume/presume’ did not come to pass.. ..just think of this.. we don’t know the mind of God, no matter how ‘biblical’ ‘logical’ some people say it is.. May we just all continuously repent of our sins & be born again & again, every day, till the day He finally comes! May you be written in the Book of Life. May you be found WORTHY to escape. Heavenly Blessings & Peace be upon you, from YahShua HaMashiach,  Adonai Elohim.
